Vance Reece of Yonkers, NY has passed away on December 17 at the age of 92.
He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 17, 1928. In high school, he was an all-county athlete in basketball, baseball and track and worked on his family’s farm. After high school, he enlisted in the Navy from 1948-1952 during the Korean war and was a radio operator and a boxer for his ship.
On September 9, 1951, he married the love of his life Eleanor Giuriceo in the Bronx, NY.
He was an avid hunter and loved country music.
He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his sons and their wives, Vance and Jenny Reece Jr. and Robert and Renee Reece. He will be deeply missed his grandchildren, Rhiannon, Vance III, Cristin, Christopher, Cynthia, his great grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Brooke, Kylie and Bella along with many nieces and nephews. He will always be in our prayers.

A Funeral Mass to honor and celebrate Vance’s life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. James the Apostle Church in Carmel, NY. Immediately following the Mass, Vance will be brought to his final resting place for interment in Raymond Hill Cemetery, Carmel, NY.
