Sadly, we announce the passing of Robert L. Czyzak, 71, of Carmel, New York on May 9, 2022.
Robert was born on July 29, 1950 to Leo and Catherine (Lynch) Czyzak in Queens, NY.
Robert worked for Island Container Corp. for 32 years, and had retired in 2016. He was a devoted father of two and his family was the most important thing to him.
He loved sports and was a loyal NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. Spending time with his family, especially his two cherished grandchildren, was one of his favorite things to do.
Robert will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved children Kaycee Czyzak, Bobby and his wife Cara Czyzak and his two treasured grandchildren Ryan and Gavin. He is survived by his much-loved niece Kristen and nephews, Eddie and Ricky as well. His two brothers, Ricky (his wife Patty) and Leo Czyzak Jr. also survive him. His friend and mother of his children, Noreen Czyzak, also survive him. Sadly, he is predeceased by his sister Mary Ann Sacco.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial to honor and celebrate Robert’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1 Doherty Drive, Carmel, NY.
Following the Mass, Robert will be brought to his final resting place at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY
