It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Boeri, a 54 year resident of Carmel, NY, age 79, on March 5, 2021.
Margaret was born on November 1, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Thomas J. and Dorothy (Krebbs) O’Toole. She married the love of her life Robert Boeri on February 3, 1968 in Brooklyn, NY, whom she met in elementary school. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Susan, Michael and Richard.
Margaret graduated from Catherine McAuley High School and went on to work as a Secretary for the Carmel Central School District. Margaret served as a Board Member of Drew Nursery School as well as the Reed Memorial Library. Margaret’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Boeri of Carmel, NY, and her three loving children, Susan Boeri of Rye, NY, Michael Boeri and his wife Micki of Carmel, NY and Richard Boeri and his wife Melissa of Carmel, NY. She is also survived by her seven adoring grandchildren, Jacob Boeri, Emily Boeri, Ben Boeri, Samantha Boeri, Matthew Boeri, Seth Johnson and Sydnee Johnson, as well as her brother Thomas O’Toole of NC.
Margaret was predeceased by her brother Michael O’Toole.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Cargain Funeral Home, 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate and honor Margaret’s life will be held 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at St. James the Apostle Church, Carmel, NY.
Burial will immediately follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery, Carmel, NY.
