It is with tremendous grief that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher James DiSciorio, 41, of Stormville, NY on January 7, 2023.
Christopher was born on March 2, 1981 in New York City to James and Maureen (Dunnigan) DiSciorio. He grew up in Stormville, NY and graduated from Carmel High School in 2000.
Christopher was extremely skillful with his hands and talented in mechanics, electrical and engineering. He loved nature and the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved animals, especially his pet dog Lilly. He enjoyed drawing. He also loved motorcycles, and all the little things in life that brought him joy. Christopher was very funny and loved playing little jokes on his sisters over the years.
Christopher is survived by his beloved parents, James and Maureen DiSciorio, his dearly loved sisters, Kelly DiSciorio and Kaitlin Weiss and her husband Keith. He is also survived by his cherished nieces, Sofina and Giada along with many dear aunts, uncles and cousins who all held a special place in his life.
He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial to honor and celebrate Christopher’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at St. James the Apostle Church, 14 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY.
Following the mass, Chris will be brought to his final resting place at the Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY.
